In all honesty, I thought Episode 8 was one of the best of the entire miniseries. And you know that’s saying something, coming from me.
This episode worked in so many ways that past episodes haven’t. I thought the interactions between Basilone and his wife were some of the best engagement between characters that we’ve seen. She provided much-needed grounding to this entire war, even some contextualization.
